The Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) today supported the ongoing protest by Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Department's Clerk Staff Association (JKLADCA) who are demanding removal of their genuine & grave pay anomalies.

Dr. Suhail Naik, president DAK, said that Government has already constituted many committees whose recommendations have never been implemented since decades. He also said it's high time that Government should redress the long pending demands and grievances of Clerks who are the backbones of all the Departments. Pertinent to mention that due to continuous halt of official work in all the departments have led a great difficulty but the esteemed clerks have no other option but to protest to resolve their long pending demands. Moreover the salary bills are at halt and various employees particularly whose salaries are meager and rely on timely salaries to run their families are the most affected people.

DAK stresses the Govt. to resolve the issue of clerks as early as possible so that the chaos comes to an end.
